AREA

Rizal has an approximate land area of 2,790 hectares and composed of 11 barangay, namely: East Poblacion, West Poblacion, Antipolo, Talaga Tuy, Paule-1, Paule-2, TAla, Entablado, Pook, and Laguan. The Poblacion area is about 8.32 hectares and composed of 2 Urban barangays. With an Urban population of 11,517 as of September 1995, the urban density is 240 persons per hectare and gross density is 4 persons per hectare.

TOPOGRAPHY

Municipality of Rizal is located at a predominantly flat terrain with the Poblacion lying at 0-3% slope. The southern portion of the municipality has a slope range of 15% and above representing the mountaneous areas which are along the bounderies of San Pablo City and the municipality of Dolores, Quezon.

CLIMATE

There are two pronounced seasons in Rizal, the dry and the wet seasons. The dry seasons is from February to June and its wet is from July to January. The hottest months occur in March and April and the coldest months are in December and January.
